How to request deletion
There are three ways to permanently delete your data from Promote-x AI:
- From within the dashboard: sign in at promote-x.com/auth/login, go to Dashboard → Settings → Account, and click Delete my account. All organisations you own, every connected social account, every uploaded media file, and every scheduled post will be permanently removed within 30 days.
- By disconnecting a single platform: from Dashboard → Accounts, click the disconnect button on any social or storage account. Tokens, profile cache, and delivery history for that account are wiped immediately.
- By emailing us: send a deletion request to support@ternstechnology.com from the address linked to your account. Include the email you signed up with so we can verify identity. We acknowledge within 1 business day and complete deletion within 30 days.
Coming from Facebook?
Meta automatically triggers a deletion request whenever a user removes Promote-x AI from their Facebook app permissions (Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Apps and websites → Active → Promote-x AI → Remove). No further action is required on your part — we receive a signed request from Meta, queue the deletion, and confirm via this page with your unique tracking code.
What we delete
- OAuth access + refresh tokens for the affected platform.
- Cached profile data (account ID, display name, avatar URL).
- Per-account analytics, post delivery history, and metrics.
- On a full-account delete: every organisation you own, every team membership, every uploaded media file, every scheduled post, every project.
What we don't delete
- Posts already published on the connected platform — those live with the platform itself and need to be removed from there.
- Aggregated, fully anonymised usage statistics that don't identify any individual user.
- Billing records, where retention is required by tax / accounting law (typically 7 years in India and most EU jurisdictions). These records contain transaction amounts and dates only, not personal data.
