1 Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may exercise the following rights:

Right to Access

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including account information, connected social accounts, and uploaded content.

Right to Correction

Update or correct inaccurate data. You can update your name, email, and organisation details directly from the Settings page.

Right to Deletion

Request deletion of your account and all associated data, including uploaded media, scheduled posts, and connected account tokens. You can also delete individual integrations from the Accounts page.

Right to Portability

Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format (JSON or CSV).

Right to Restrict Processing

Request that we limit how we process your data while a concern is being resolved.

Right to Object

Object to certain processing activities, such as receiving non-essential communications.

Right to Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. This does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

2 How to Exercise Your Rights

You can exercise most rights directly within the Promote-x AI dashboard:

• Update your data: Settings → Account Information
• Delete an integration: Accounts → Disconnect
• Delete your account: Settings → Delete Account
• Revoke Google access:myaccount.google.com/permissions
• Revoke Facebook access:Facebook → Settings → Apps

For requests that cannot be handled in the dashboard, email us at privacy@promotex.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

3 For Users in the European Economic Area (EEA)

Under the GDPR, you have additional rights including the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority. Our legal basis for processing is:

• Contract performance: to provide the Promote-x AI service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interest: security monitoring, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
• Consent: for optional features like push notifications and marketing emails.

4 For Users in India

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. You may also nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf. Promote-x AI acts as a Data Fiduciary under the Act.

5 For Users in California (USA)

Under the CCPA, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. Promote-x AI does not sell your personal information.

6 Data Deletion Timeline

• Account deletion: all data removed within 30 days of request.
• Integration disconnect: tokens deleted immediately.
• Content deletion: removed immediately from our storage.
• Backup copies: purged within 90 days as part of routine backup rotation.
